The File Manager is pretty self explanatory, click on File Manager Button in the control panel, then click on your name link (this is where all of your files will reside). index.html is generally your homepage, sometimes can be called default.htm or index.htm depending on what program you're using. Folders or directories are navigated by clicking on the folder icon and edited by clicking on the name. Documents are edited by clicking on the icon or the name.

As you scroll down within each directory you navigate, you should notice that folders / directories are generally shown first at the top while documents such as .html, .txt, .css, etc. are listed at the bottom.

Note: Before you upload HTML files, images, etc. you will need to be in the existing 'your name' directory, and then as you scroll to the bottom you'll notice you have several choices:

Create New Folder: (Usually towards the top of the folder icons) Input directory name you want to create, or input existing folder to edit a folder (erases everything in that folder), then click the "create" button.

Create New File: (Usually towards the bottom of the folder icons or at the top of the document icons) Input new file name to create file or input existing file to edit a file (erases that file), then click the button.

Upload files: This feature lets you upload files from your hard drive to our server. Click browse, choose file from your hard drive, then click upload to upload it to the www directory or any directory within that.

Folders:
Delete this folder and all files under it - click this link in the upper right frame then click on the trash can to empty it.
Rename this folder - click this link and then put your new name in the blank field within the upper right frame.
Change Permissions - even gives the hexidecimal as you check and uncheck the appropriate boxes.
Move this folder - clicking here for the folder chosen changes the left frame to the root level of your server where you
are then asked to choose a folder you want to move the chosen folder to.
Copy this folder - this works just like "Move this folder" except it makes a copy to the chosen folder.

Files:
Show File - this allows you to see the document as you regularly would on the web.
Delete File - click this link in the right upper frame then click on the trashcan to empty it.
Edit File - you can actually edit the HTML of your page easily, right within the browser from any where.
