Domain Name Transfers
Domain name transfers from other web hosts are usually completed within 2 days and result in less than 10 minutes of downtime. We take care of domain transfers for free once you place an order with us. You will receive an email from the Registrar at the email address for which you originally signed up for the Domain Name. This email ( modification letter ) is your security in keeping your Domain Name and it's appropriate information in tact. You will need to "reply all" with the appropriate response below. To correctly point at the new IP address we provide with one of our 4 hosting plans, this modification request reflective in this letter, requests a change in the name servers to ours. Video Integrations will be listed as the technical support which allows us to update name server information if needed when we add new servers.

If you would like to transfer your domain yourself, please scroll further down this page.

Once you place an order with us, we will send you your new IP address (if dedicated), username, and password to upload your site to. You would go ahead and upload your site to your IP address, and once the domain transfer is complete (1-2 days) your domain would point to your new IP address we provided you with, and your old IP address with your old host would be inactive. This is when you would want to cancel your account with your old host, this way total downtime is less than 10 minutes.

If you "Registered" your domain through Network Solutions or are Transferring from another web hosting company:

We will send out a modification request to Internic, then you will receive a modification letter to the email address you registered your domain name with asking if you agree to the changes, before you send the letter back to them (with their original message in the reply), you will need to make sure these items are correct:

1. The company name in whois (link below) matches the organization name exactly in the modification letter. The organization name will be near the bottom of the email you receive. If the organization name in the modification isn't the same as whois, your request won't go through.

2. You must send back the modification letter from the email you originally registered the domain with. If you don't have access to that email please contact us.

3. When you send back the modification request, make sure you put "Y" (which tells them you agree with the modification) in the correct field. Also don't put any questions of comments in the reply. The modification requests are not viewed by humans and are processed automatically.

If you would like to see what the company name & email of your domain name is registered under, see the Whois database (enter domain name without the 'www').

If your domain transfer is not complete within 3 days please contact us.

If you "Reserved" your domain through Network Solutions Click Here

Once logged in, click on your domain on the left menu under "Domain Names", then scroll down to the bottom of the next page and click "Change Host Information" and use our DNS Information shown below along with our nic handle.

If you registered your domain through Register.com:

Go to http://mydomain.register.com/

Once logged in with your username/password, click on the domain you wish to modify and click the Domain Name Servers (DNS) link. Then click EDIT DNS button.

Replace DNS information with information below:

Primary Name Server NS.videointegrations.COM
Primary IP Address 63.200.41.182
Secondary Name Server NS2.videointegrations.COM
Secondary IP Address 63.200.41.181

Then click "Yes" button confirming changes, you will also receive a confirmation email , then you're done!

Common Question: Do I loose ownership of the domain once I transfer to you? I noticed you are the new Technical Contact.

Answer: No, you will always be the owner and have final say over any changes being made to your domain; having us as the technical contact only allows us to update name server information if needed when we add new servers.

Transferring your domain name yourself
This is not recommended unless your domain name is not active. If your site is active it is recommended you wait until you place an order with us so downtime is minimal. Below is the information you should change as it appears below (Technical Contact and Name Server Information). This is also a chance to update your organization address. Also see top portion of this age for general procedures of sending back the modification letter.
